Position Overview
As a Personal Care Assistant and valued CareHeart, you will assist our clients with daily activities, providing the support they need to live independently at home. Your role is crucial in ensuring that each client receives care that is not only effective but also delivered with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
Monitor and report changes in client’s health, behavior, and needs.
Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Accompany clients to appointments or on errands as needed.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in healthcare or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred but not required.
A patient and caring personality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients as needed.
